Seine beste lesbische Freundin, Gabriella, führt daher mit ihm eine Alibi-Beziehung. Doch als Sharpay in ihren wohlverdienten Hetero-Urlaub fährt um sich vor den vielen Homos ihrer Schule zu erholen und in der Hoffnung dort mit Troy zusammen zu kommen, muss sie feststellen, dass Troy nicht alleine kommt – Er bringt die komplette Fag-Truppe der East High mit und muss sich auch noch mit Gabriella rumschlagen, die unglücklich verliebt in Sharpay ist… Wie das wohl alles enden soll?!
